Ski and sliding

Getting ready for the ski season

Before you hit the slopes as soon as they open, there’s no question of putting your winter and skiing training on hold! In the meantime, how about a training session, to be repeated until the winter sports resorts open, with famous coach and blogger Lucile Woodward?

With Lucile Woodward

Getting ready for skiing

Preventing injuries

Keeping the mountains fun

As Lucile Woodward points out in her programme, this sequence has been approved by the French Ministry of Sport to prevent injuries on the slopes. With these exercises, the muscles involved in skiing are trained to prevent pain and give you better control over your trajectory and speed.

This particular month of November lends itself perfectly to putting all the chances on your side in the resorts this winter. So, are you ready to take 10 minutes out of your day for thighs of steel? To get the full benefits of this programme, Lucile Woodward recommends doing it “every day, or at least 2 or 3 times a week, 30 days before you go skiing”.

And above all, once you’re there, don’t forget to warm up before hitting the slopes!
