Our partners

At France Montagnes, we firmly believe in the power of the collective, which is why we are proud to work hand in hand with committed partners who share our passion for the French mountains and work with us to promote these unique territories.

The founding members

France Montagnes was born out of the desire of three major players in the French mountain tourism sector to join forces to promote mountain destinations throughout the year. The three founding members of the association are :

– L’Association Nationale des Maires des Stations de Montagne (ANMSM), which represents the mayors of mountain resorts,

– Domaines Skiables de France (DSF), which represents ski lift operators,

– Syndicat National des Moniteurs de Ski Français (SNMSF), which represents the 17,000 qualified ski instructors working in France.

Active members

Our active members bring together the key players in mountain tourism in France who are committed to developing and promoting our regions. Our active members include institutional bodies, professional federations and tourism development agencies. They are directly involved in defining France Montagnes’ strategic orientations and have decision-making powers at the Board of Directors and the General Assembly. They finance and actively support the association’s projects.

Affiliated members

Affiliated members bring together a wide range of partners who contribute their expertise, take part in promotional activities and benefit from the network and tools developed by France Montagnes. Their role is consultative, with no direct involvement in governance.
