The France Montagnes peloton is back to conquer the roads of the Tour!

You can’t resist the mountains! And the France Montagnes peloton, made up of esf instructors, is proving it again this year on the roads of the Tour de France. To promote the benefits of the mountains for the body and mind in summer, our peloton is taking part in two mountain stages of the Tour de France 2025, men’s and women’seditions .We look forward to seeing you thereto cheer them on alongthe route ! Here’s where to find them this summer.

Tour de France Hommes: Courchevel and the demanding Col de la Loze

The resort of Courchevel, in the heart of the Three Valleys in Savoie, offers all the benefits of a stay at altitude in summer! It will welcome the Tour de France again in 2025, for the finish of one of this year’s most demanding stages, which will have started in Vif, Isère, 171km earlier.

Made up of around thirty esf instructors, as well as a number of champions, the France Montagnes peloton will set out to tackle the final 25km of stage 18 of this Tour de France 2025. A demanding stage between Vif and Courchevel, finishing with the ascent of the legendary Col de la Loze.

The instructors and champions will set off from Brides-les-Bains, around 1 hour before the Tour’s publicity caravan passes by. Don’t hesitate to come and cheer them on on Thursday 24 July 2025!

Tour de France Femmes: an all-female peloton on the Col de la Madeleine

After a highly successful first edition in 2024, the 100% women’s peloton is back on the road for the Tour de France Femmes!

It’s at Saint-François-Longchamp, a resort located on the famous Col de la Madeleine road, that the esf instructors will cover the last 20 kilometres of the penultimate stage of the Tour de France Femmes 2025.

They will be setting off from La Chambre, also 1 hour before the advertising caravan. We look forward to seeing you there to support the riders in the France Montagnes peloton and the champions who will be accompanying them on Saturday 2 August 2025, and to discover one of the most exciting stages of this women’s Tour, entirely in Savoie!

A peloton equipped by choice partners: Santini and Julbo

France Montagnes would like to thank its partners who will be equipping our pelotons this year, enabling the riders to wear the colours of France Montagnes and the ESF!

Once again this year, France Montagnes has chosen Santini to dress the riders in the peloton.

An Italian brand specialising in the manufacture of cycling clothing and accessories, Santini has been renowned for over 60 years for the quality of its products, which combine performance and comfort. Santini equips both amateur and professional cyclists, and has been an official partner of the Tour de France for many years.

Cyclists in the France Montagnes pelotons will have the chance to wear tailor-made clothing (jersey, shorts, socks) in the colours of France Montagnes and the esf!

Julbo, a French brand for comfort and safety

To complete the equipment for the peloton and ensure its safety, France Montagnes is teaming up this year with the French brand Julbo!

For over 130 years, Julbo has been renowned for its technical innovations and is particularly popular with sportsmen and women, especially in skiing, mountaineering, trail running, mountain biking and cycling.

The France Montagnes peloton

The France Montagnes peloton has been touring the roads of the Tour for over 10 years with one aim in mind: to demonstrate the health and fitness benefits of the mountains in summer, while giving the French mountains a high profile among the Tour de France public!

Watch the France Montagnes peloton live on France Télévision during the stages on Thursday 24 July and Saturday 2 August!

And keep your eyes peeled for the TIFO “La Montagne, ça vous gagne” (The Mountains win you over), which could well sneak onto the mountain stages of the Tour de France again this year…
