BMW IBU Coupe du monde de Biathlon Annecy - Le Grand-Bornand

En résumé

As the French host venue for the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup – having already hosted six rounds in 2013, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025 – Annecy-Le Grand-Bornand has established itself as an unmissable fixture on the international circuit. ... THE ‘BLEUS’ HAD A HUGE FOLLOWING! With nearly 67,000 fans (including 3,600 schoolchildren from primary and secondary schools, invited respectively by the Haute-Savoie Department and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region), the Le Grand-Bornand leg managed to equal its attendance record set in 2024. This success was confirmed by the exceptional audiences recorded by the L'Equipe television channel, particularly during the broadcast of the races. It was an opportunity to see the talents of the French team shine on home soil, in the Sylvie Becaert international stadium... and for the Organising Committee to meet up again with the ‘biathlon family’, bringing together the fans, athletes, partners, officials and media who were expected in large numbers.
