You’ve heard of hiking and via-ferrata… The Vosges offers you the chance to combine the two! This sport and adventure activity takes you to the heights of Bussand, for a safe route combining hiking and climbing.

Why try it?

Because this activity is ideal for a first approach to via ferrata! The route takes you along a fixed cable, with rungs, footbridges and beams to make the climb easier.

You’ll alternate between easy rocky sections and grassy links, without any big vertical walls, but with a few thrills to add a touch of adrenalin: Nepalese bridge, monkey bridge, beams…

Access and conditions

If you are already an experienced climber, access is free with your personal equipment. Otherwise, the activity is open to all, whatever your level (from 1m40 and 40kg). All the necessary equipment can be hired from the Bussang campsite, located near the course.

A 4-hour round (complete course) for a breath of fresh air and plenty of thrills!

And if you’re not sure whether to take the plunge, you can also be accompanied by a state-certified instructor, who will show you all the secrets of the course and the surrounding Vosges mountains.
