In the footsteps of …
#1 – David Gonthier
More of a photographer than a runner, this native of Auvergne plunges us into the world of trail running. Portraits of athletes, landscapes from all over the world and stolen moments from the races are mixed together in each of his photos.
To follow him is to discover a sporting mountain, French and international, aesthetic and active.
#2 – Michel Lanne
As well as being a talented runner (winner of the CCC in 2016), Michel Lanne is a mountain man at heart. Originally from the Pyrenees, it’s now in the heart of the Alps that we follow him during his training sessions and at work (as a member of the PGHM).
To follow him is to wander along steep, technical trails, secret and magnificent playgrounds.
#3 – François D’Haene
At just 32 years of age, François is a major figure in world trail running: three-time winner of the Diagonale de Fous (2016, 2014, 2013), record-holder of the GR20 2016 (31h06) and two-time winner of the UTMB (2012, 2014), among others. When he’s not running on the trails of the Alps, you can find him at home, in Beaujolais, where he is a wine grower and also a physiotherapist. And that’s just the beginning!
To follow him is to share the daily life of a natural and healthy athlete, for whom trail running is a matter of course.
#4 – Caroline Chaverot
Caroline entered the world of trail running in 2012, and in just four years has become the world queen of the discipline. In 2016, she won the World Championships and the UTMB. A Franco-Swiss, she trains from 10 to 20 hours a week on the trails of Haute-Savoie before taking to the paths of the world.
To follow her is to discover the intimacy of an immense sportswoman, images full of strength and emotion, an extraordinary mother and recipes for healthy cooking.
#5 – Pierre Vignaux
Immersion in the heart of the Pyrenees for this amateur photographer, in love with his mountain range. Each of Pierre’s outings is an opportunity to take spectacular, pure, unadorned photographs. A wild mountain, where nature is immense in the face of man.
To follow him is to discover the fabulous paths of the Pyrenees.
