5 fun slopes to try with family!
Family skiing? Everyone can have fun on the fun slopes! Those green or blue slopes are found in many resorts and their route is full of games, passages and decorations adapted to the youngest skiers. Here are 5 to discover in the resorts this winter.
“La montagne des elfes” in Les Saisies (Savoie)
At Les Saisies, there are no less than 3 hectares dedicated to skiing and snowboarding for the very young thanks to the facilities at the Montagne des Elfes. There’s a snootcross course (banked turns), tunnels, giant mushrooms, a whirlpool track and sound modules, all accompanied by Snoot the elf, a popular character with children.
To get there, simply take the TSD de Bisanne or the TS du Manant.
The Taupe trail, Les 7 Laux (Isère)
Ideal for first-time skiers, the Parcours de la Taupe in Les 7 Laux is a must for all the family! The green slope at La Souchette, accessible from Prapoutel via the Bouquetins chairlift, is fully equipped with arches, wind chimes, tunnels and other obstacles to overcome, all while following the little mole, the course mascot.
Here’s a good idea: this fun trail is available in a “beginner sector” format, so you can introduce your little ones to the joys of skiing without having to pay for a full ski pass!

The Fun Slope at Peyragudes (Pyrenees)
With a slightly higher level of skiing, your children will be delighted to try out the “Fun Slope” at Peyragudes! It’s an alternative to traditional ski runs, with a course littered with bumps, banked turns, tunnels and even a few jumps!
It’s a great way to get to grips with the sensations of a snowpark, while keeping it accessible to all levels. The perfect opportunity for the whole family to have fun!
Eureka Quiz at Val d’Allos (Southern Alps)
The Val d’Allos ski area is perfectly suited to families with children, and offers a host of fun areas. Youngsters will love the Eureka Quiz experience. After picking up a questionnaire at the ski area information point (located opposite the Aiguille snow front), the children go down the Eureka piste and answer the questions as they go down.
Once back at the snow front, a correction is available at the info point, and a small reward awaits them!

Opoualand at La Bresse Hohneck (Vosges)

Reserved for children aged 6 to 12 and their carers, it’s a safe area where you can have fun on the slopes!
Fully equipped, this area will allow children to discover the mysteries of the mountain while learning the rules of safety on the slopes in a fun way.
To get there, take the Grand Artimont chairlift, then the La Casquette ski lift and the Belle Hutte chairlift.
