Val Cenis
#1 – La Canopée des Cimes
Located at the top of the Met at an altitude of 2800 metres, this suspended platform with its atypical and original architecture offers an incredible 180-degree view of the surrounding countryside: from the Vanoise glaciers to Mont Viso and the Meije, discover the extent of the protected natural area and the strategic importance of the Mont Cenis pass over the centuries.
An orientation table accompanies your contemplation. Treat yourself to an original experience, in keeping with the values of the resort, which is both authentic and attentive to the unique environment that surrounds it.
Les Arcs
#2 – The Aiguille Rouge is a sight to behold
From the highest point in Les Arcs, at an altitude of 3226 metres, a breathtaking panorama unfolds at your feet. Accessible to pedestrians, children and skiers alike, the Passerelle is 35 metres long.
On one side, you can admire the majesty of the Alps. On the other, you overlook the Hauts de Villaroger nature reserve, a wild site where protected flora and fauna thrive. From here, the view of Mont Turia and Mont Pourri is breathtaking.
In conjunction with the ONF, which manages the Hauts de Villaroger Nature Reserve, an educational trail has been set up on La Passerelle to inform visitors and raise their awareness of the natural treasures of this exceptional natural site.
Pic du Midi
#3 – The Pontoon in the Sky
Climbing up to the Pic du Midi, a mythical Pyrenean landmark, is one of the best experiences you can have in the mountains. Once up there, step onto the Ponton dans le Ciel and overlook a natural site listed for the beauty of its scenery.
Suspended at an altitude of 2877 metres, above a void of 1000 metres, experience the thrill of a breathtaking panorama. Touch the clouds from this unique, vertiginous vantage point over the Franco-Spanish massif. Hold on tight to the horizon as the void beneath your feet beckons!
Les 2 Alpes
#4 – Le Belvédère des Ecrins
Experience the thrills of the high mountains from the Belvédère des Ecrins. From the 2 Alpes glacier funicular station at an altitude of 3400 metres, take advantage of the majestic views offered by this unique landscape to get to the platform above the void.
Facing a breathtaking massif, you can admire the mythical peaks of the Ecrins, including the famous Meije.
Tignes
#5 – Altitude Experience
Enjoy a unique and fun experience on the Grande Motte glacier. After taking the recently renovated funicular railway, climb aboard the cable car to the highest point of the glacier. You’ll need a little patience to discover the observation deck, the giant educational and evolving totem poles, the turning turn and the flight deck.
This collaborative project between the resort of Tignes and the Parc de la Vanoise will enable young and old alike to discover the secrets of this biodiversity reserve from this vantage point at an altitude of over 3,000 metres. More than just a high-mountain experience, this facility will have an educational dimension about the fauna and flora of the environment.
La Rosière
#6 – Panoramic Experience
Take in the scenery from a different angle from the footbridge at the top of the Fort Express chairlift. Admire the breathtaking view from this vantage point.
Discover Mont Blanc from another angle, enjoy the 360° panorama between France and Italy, and marvel at the view over the legendary Petit Saint-Bernard pass. Immortalise this unique moment with the Photo Point and its remote release in “selfie” mode, and retrieve your photo on your smartphone.
