"La montagne, ça vous gagne! The Before"

The French mountains come to Paris from 17 to 19 November

What would you say if the mountains came to you? For 3 days, the best of the French mountains will be meeting at Ground Control in Paris to offer you unique experiences: bobsleigh, ski simulator, tastings, music… From 12 noon to 12.30am, live to the rhythm of the mountains with non-stop entertainment.

“You’re in for a mountain treat! The Before” is also a meeting place. Culinary encounters with the food corner and mountain specialities. And of course, all kinds of entertainment, film screenings of the moment, on the ski side of course, and photocalls for great memories with your mates. A real foretaste of the winter season in the resort! And for dancefloor fans, there’s an exciting ‘après-ski’ programme with some great surprises in store…! The winter season kicks off with a party in Paris!

We’re not forgetting about sustainable development issues, with the Mountain Riders association on hand to raise awareness of mountain practices and help preserve the beautiful playground that the mountains offer us in every season.

There’ll be plenty of activities and experiences, and plenty of fun and festive moments in the colours of the French mountains!

• La Clusaz – Screening of 5 films co-produced by them on Saturday afternoon (programme below)
• Agence des Pyrénées – Activities and games around the theme of skiing and rugby; tastings of local produce; Pyrenean brass band in a festive atmosphere!
• Haute Maurienne Vanoise – Electric snow groomer simulator to find out how ski slopes are prepared; balancing workshop on a wooden board to strengthen deep muscles and get ready to hit the slopes!
• Agence Savoie Mont Blanc – Preparing mountain culinary recipes in front of the public, followed by tastings; Ski simulator on the piste for the 2023 Alpine World Ski Championships in Courchevel Méribel.
• Mountain Riders – ProNo Mégots: an event to raise awareness of our environmental impact in the mountains
• Peisey-Vallandry – Introduction to biathlon with a 10-metre shooting range!
• Espace Diamant – Live painting on a giant cardboard snow groomer by “2H le Graffeur”!
